About the Author

Known for her lyrical prose and engagement with Christian theology, Marilynne Robinson’s fiction and nonfiction books tackle important moral questions. She was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize for her first novel, Housekeeping, and won the award for Gilead, the first book in her trilogy set in Gilead, Iowa.
