Pretty pictures of birds that are not necessarily in Houston.

This very disappointing little folder purports to show pictures of birds located in Houston for use in identiying them. Sorry, no go. The birds shown are, probably in the Gulf Coast area, but not in Houston. The near shore birds and water birds are definitely not HOUSTON birds. Very few of the Gulls shown are to be found in HOUSTON. For those that have the time and capability to go the "birding hotspots" shown, will be more interested in obtaining a birding guide with more information about the various birs given. For a quick reference to aid in identifying the majority of the birds in HOUSTON this is a bust.
