It is a good piece of literature to integrate with your math lesson.

Children who hear this book will want to measure things with their foot or someone elses. This is a great introduction to standard measurement using a ruler as a guideline. As a kindergarten teacher, this story is a great supplement to standard measurement.

Overview
The King wants to give the Queen something special for her birthday. The Queen has everything, everything except a bed.
