My 2 year old son adores this series (we read "How Do Dinosaurs Say Goodnight" every night for at least a year) and "How Do Dinosaurs Say I Love You" does not disappoint. Its a great book to cuddle up and read before bedtime. The illustrations are great (as always) and it gives you the opportunity to repeatedly tell your child you love them - what could be better?

Fun, big, and colorful illustration. My 2 year old enjoys this book. Also check out The Journey of a Grape. My son likes this book a lot.

If you know anything about Jane Yolen's fantastic books for young adults, you might be surprised to see her name behind the wildly successful Dinosaur books for toddlers. Then again, maybe you wouldn't be. A well-written book is a well-written book, and Jane Yolen is a master at her craft.  Originally, I bought this book for my son because it appeared on the list of 100 Picture Books put out by the South Carolina State Library. I am familiar with most of the books on the list, having been a children's librarian until fairly recently, and then continuing to follow newly released books through the library, and I'm not crazy about all of them, so I won't be investing in all of them. The Dinosaur book, however, seemed like a safe bet. Even though I didn't know this particular book, I knew enough of the series to think that my son would like it. And I was right. So far, of all the Dinosaur books I've read, this one is my favorite. When a book starts out "You woke up this morning is such a bad mood", it is pretty easy for me to connect the dinosaurs in the book with my young son. And, more importantly, it is also pretty easy for my young son to see a good deal of himself in the dinosaurs.

Great book for 4 and 5 year olds-it is sweet and endearing, yet appeals to children's love of the silly and outrageous! Every dinosaur lover should have this series of books in their library!

This is such a sweet book! The entire series is so fun! We laugh and make up different voices for each dinosaur. Great way to learn and teach all the different dinos. We can read it over and over. A highly recommend book!

I gave this to my 3-year old grandson for his birthday. He loved it and requested it every night as a bedtime story for the 5 days I was there. Also, his 5-year old brother loved it so he could discuss each of the dinosaurs.

My 4 year old grandson is a dinosaur fanatic so I ordered this book and How do Dinosaurs Say Good Night for him for Valentines Day. When they arrived I thought they might be be a little too cute for him but according to his mother, she had to read both of them to him 4 times the day he received them and several times since. He loves them.

My twin daughters got this for my 3 yr old grandson for Christmas because the story reminded them of him! It is sweet and engaging...especially since they also got the dinosaur to go with it! He loves having it read to him every night.
