CHAPTER 1

How Do I Love You

How do I love you? I will tell you so. I love you more than you'll ever know.

More than the sun loves to brighten the day. More than a little puppy loves to play.

I love you like boats love to sail on the sea. I love you like sweet nectar is loved by the bee.

How do I love you? Oh, in so many ways. I'll love you so much for all of your days.

More than the wind loves to dance through the trees. More than a fish loves to swim with such ease.

I love you like spring loves bringing showers. I love you like rain is loved by the flowers.

How do I love you? Just one day you'll see. I love you beyond the depths of infinity.

More than the moon loves to brighten the night sky. More than the birds love to fly up so high.

I love you like the stars love shining so bright. I love you like children are loved with such might.
