Interesting facts about a church parish and community (now Hampton, Virginia) that was established a few years after the Jamestown colony and has lasted 400 years. It tells about the church buildings, and the some of the influential people that help the parish survive the revolutionary war, the War of 1812, and the American Civil War. Good read for an American history scholar, a Virginia history scholar, and a Religious history scholar.
