The man of your dreams could be sitting right next to you.

Former boy band member Justin Hayes isn't looking for a man. He just wants a quiet, scandal-free Christmas at home in Chicago, out of the public eye. But his best friend and bandmate is subjecting everyone to his destination wedding, and Justin can't dodge the "best man" bullet. All he has to do is get to the island on time, survive the reunion, and get Chuck to the altar with as little drama as possible. What could possibly go wrong?

Jack Basinger's own plans for a quiet Christmas have been dashed by the summons to his daughter's hasty wedding with a man Jack has hardly met. On the bumpy flight to the island, he finds himself comforting a nervous--and extremely attractive--young man. One hasty sexual encounter in an airport bathroom later, they both feel much better. No one ever has to know, after all.

Now Justin and Jack must find a way to explore their attraction, despite the distractions of disapproving family members, unexpected announcements, an impromptu concert, and an island paradise that proves there's no place like home.

Funny and sweet moments in the book but it seemed to be more about Chuck and the rest of the boy band then actually about the couple that is supposed to be falling in love. They actually only have five scenes alone together...FAIL :-(

How I Met Your Father. L.B. Gregg Review from Jeannie Zelos Book Reviews. I love romance, not the sweet M&B type, but the sort with something extra. I don't care if its hetero or gay so long as its got lots of emotion. I've not read anything by this author before so wasn't sure what to expect. I didn't anticipate the wonderful humour though – at unexpected moments there's be some dry, sharp witted comment that would make me choke with laughter. How they meet – on the plane and after that was great, but then the scene at the wedding when Justin realises who Jack is – I could just picture that a real “oh sh..t” moment :) Justin is still trying to hide behind his boy-band man slut image that was so important back when they were actively touring and recording, but now the band are all past that teen image part he still isn't “out”, and as he still gets recognised he's struggling with living a lie but doesn't know how to get past it. Jack, brilliant man, father of the bride and with a teenage son also at the wedding, he's not close to his family and has only met his new son in law twice. On the island with Jack Justin can't help but succumb to his actions. Jacks far more confident, knows what he wants and goes out to get it. There's a fantastic scene where some of the group are climbing to the summit of a volcano, and Justin and Jack get separated from the others and are caught at an impromptu moment by the rest of the group including the teenage Benji! Who's not impressed at finding his father like that... there's so many funny one liners, dry humour, biting sarcasm wrapped up with some tender and sensual action between Jack and Justin, that its a short (98 pages)but very emotional and sensual read. It's not a graphic sex on every other page book, but one where there's a feeling of sexual tension, where the need between the two men is almost felt off the page, and when they do get together the heat generated feels so real. I loved it – just wish it was longer. It has the perfect ending too. Stars: five – a great read :) NB: ARC supplied via Netgalley

4-1/2 Stars A great holiday read full of fun, sun, beach, wedding ups and downs, and most importantly romance. LB Gregg had me smiling from beginning to end.

An excellent well crafted story, dealing with an accidental meeting with young man who was to be a best man at his friends meeting,   and the father of the bride to be.

a fantastic, entertaining read 3.75 stars Justin is traveling to his best friend's wedding when he meets Jack, a handsome, older man who gets him through his fear of flying. Justin is used to rushed hook-ups from his life in the spotlight, but he can't help but feel something 'more' for the charming stranger who comforted him. A hot, anonymous encounter in a bathroom stall is not on Justin's agenda, but he's not foolish enough to let it pass him by. This was such a fun story to get through. From the beginning, LB Gregg drew me into the story by making Justin and Jack's plane ride unforgettable. I loved Justin voice from the moment he started his rambling and it only got better from there. I enjoyed his sarcastic humor and his loyalty to his friends, but I also liked how flustered he became when Jack was around. The chemistry between the two jumped-off the page. Every look, touch and innocent exchange was laced with their attraction for each other and I couldn't wait to see of them together. The truth is I didn't get the chance to experience that. Their story was cut short, at least in the getting to each other stage, so when the ending came, it was a bit of a shock to me. Then again, their situation didn't lend itself for further exploration without taking it outside the 'wedding story' is was set in. All in all, a fantastic, entertaining read that left me wanting more exploration of the connection that brought these characters together. *I received this title from the publisher in exchange of my honest opinion.

This book wasn’t at all what I thought it would be and I am unsure if that is a good thing or a bad thing. While this book was about a group of grown men who are gathered together because of a wedding, it almost felt like a high school drama filled play. The fights and arguments that were happening throughout the book were just… strange. Even after I have finished reading the book I can’t stop thinking about how they were all behaving. But there is the underlying story happening here, we have Justin who has a quickie in the airport with a no-named man. Normally right there I would stop reading the story, but I just had to find out what was going to happen next between the two men. Well come to find out, the man that Justin met in the airport was none other than the father of the bride. I don’t really understand the whole “instant attraction I have to be with this person constantly” thing that was happening in this book, but I still went with it. I felt really let down because the story is on the shorter end of stories, but we didn’t actually get that much time with Jack and Justin. There was more going on about the band mates. In my opinion, I think that the story would have been a lot better to me if the drama would have been cut in half at least. I would recommend this book to people who enjoy reading drama filled books and who like this genre.
