ANDY PUDDICOMBE is currently the only Clinical Meditation Consultant in the United Kingdom with Medical Advisory Committee clearance for private practice. As a former Buddhist monk, he has trained extensively in meditation all over the world for more than 15 years. He returned to the UK in 2004 and set up the Headspace organization with one simple aim in mind: to demystify meditation and make it accessible and relevant to as many people as possible.

    Not a book - essentially an advertisement for author's *other* book.

    Interesting to skim through but it is clearly intended to be an ad to get the reader to purchase the full-length book. At least every 6 pages or so we are reminded that we can "read more about this in the book blah blah blah available from publisher...." Annoying!

    I could focus better and felt so good and happy after .i fell asleep within 10 minutes it usually takes me 45 minutes to fall asleep get it forget all other bad comments.

    Short introduction to achieving mindfulness.

    Andy Puddicombe introduces readers to his path to mindfulness, 10 minutes a day of emptying the mind and experiencing the present moment. Short and worthwhile. Then read his book 'Get Some Headspace.'

    Very easy to read. This book is understandable even for chirldren. If you wanna read something more inspirational you should read the book of Anatoliy Obraztsov a crossing or the drop's history

    Great information about meditation and FREE!

    So what if he advertises his other book. This one is free and generously provides the reader with all the information needed to start a daily practice of meditation, plus additional info on mindfulness techniques. Very easy to understand.

    A book that's trying to sell another book

    This book spends much of its time promoting another book by the same author, which one would obviously have to buy, perhaps even to understand the first book. I consider this a scam
