Editorial Reviews

Library Journal
Qubein (Get the Best from Yourself, Berkley, 1986) is well qualified to write a book on communication. He came to the United States as a young man unable to speak English and went on to learn it and become president of the National Speaker's Association, provide training seminars for many large companies, and write six books on communication and success. His latest book (based on his best-selling audiocassette), which emphasizes business communication, is for anyone who wants to become a better communicator. He covers verbal and nonverbal communication as well as effective ways to communicate in different media. Like Zig Zigler and Peter Lowe, Qubein inspires listeners and readers to greater success with enthusiasm and energy. Recommended for public libraries.-Lisa J. Cihlar, Winfield P.L., Ill.

Excellent Insight from an Amazing Man

I heard Mr. Qubein speak at a conference last year and was blown away by his enthusiasm for business and his character as an individual. He certainly knows a lot about communication and his books and CDs have made a tremendous difference for me and my colleagues and how we work with our customers. This is a highly recommended book, and all of his books and audio programs are insightful.
