    I thought this might be a funny birthday gift for a girlfriend, and it was. However, I had it shipped to myself because I had other gifts to go along with this and wanted to pack them all in the same box. I was glad that I had because there are some sections of this book that were trashy. As it was a 50 something girlfriend, I was okay with this and knew that the recipient would be. However, be warned, there are a few explicit things in this book....i.e. a chart spoofing CPR with the illustration of a b.j. It was a budget book, so at least monetarily it was not a big deal. I suggest reading it before giving it.

    Without Reservations: The Travels of an Independent Woman

    Waste of money.

    I did not like the structure nor contents. The author was trying to be humorous and the contents was of little use. Perhaps the book may be good for group conversation, but actually of little use for the reader.

    This Book is a RIOT!

    This is a must read for all 40, 50 and 60 somethings! It is so funny my stomach hurt from laughing. A great gift for all of your "Middle-Aged" friends. The "updated, shortened and revised" instructions on using the diaphragm for contraception is hilarious.<BR/><BR/>Thank you Marilyn Miller!

    I AM a Babe!

    This hilarious is both a send-up of both 'how-to' books and a scathing commentary on how middle aged women are treated. It is a must-have for all those Babes you know. It is brilliantly written and the format is terrific!

    The best laugh we have had in years!
