Based on a four-week bootcamp, this book has more information in it than Imelda Marcos had shoes. It's full of tips that apply not only to freelance blogging, but to the writing business in general, such as how to write faster, become a content strategist, and get higher-paying gigs. I enjoy the conversational tone, and the fact that Carol brings in outside perspectives from industry experts like Annabel Candy, Sean Platt, and Greg Ciotti. I'm not looking to land blogging jobs right now, but even so, I found the content useful and relevant. It's a definite must-buy for freelance bloggers! I was treated to an advance copy, but all opinions are my own.

This book could not have been more helpful. I have been a loyal reader of Carol Tice for some time now, and she has taught me so much already--releasing this book was the cherry on top. Not only do you receive still more of her own tips and tricks, but the guest writers she brought on offer some fantastic, practical and actionable insights that can help you start earning more TODAY. I am currently a freelance blogger for businesses and online publications, and I've been thinking about finally launching my own blog, and I learned some great advice for both career pursuits that I have already started applying to my day-to-day work. I loved the book so much that I sat there with a notebook jotting down advice as I went along--the first time I've done that for any ebook or training I've received thus far. And it was well, well worth it. I couldn't recommend this book more--all freelance writers and bloggers should try this book for themselves!

Grab a cup of coffee or tea and sit down for a private conversation and the best advice on earning money as a blogger from the best bloggers and influencers in the business.  This book reads like a conversation complete with questions and answers at the end of each chapter. It's chock full of advice like how to start a blog of your own and leverage it to get seen, guest posting to increase your visibility, and how to write headlines that get the social shares. Also, how to find those great paying clients that don't think twice about paying $100 per post. Most importantly, you will learn how to ask for payment as a writer and where to get ideas. This section I found particularly helpful for me. I have a blog that I let go stagnate, because I ran out of ideas. Armed with the information from Carol Tice and company, I’m energized to revitalize this blog and I’m no longer scared to get that blogging gig for an industry unfamiliar to me, because I’m sure I can find great ideas for the client’s blog now. Oh, and how to write faster! That in itself is a reason to get this book. Even if you don't decide to go out and write for others, this book will help you improve your own blog and increase your own influence in your niche.  I was a beta reader of this book, but my opinions are my own and honest. If I didn’t love it, I wouldn’t write it. Actually, I’m a little jealous that people who are not a member of the Freelance Writers Den are now going to privy to the kind of info members of the Den get for far less than the membership. But, its’ all good! Share the wealth.

This well-thought-out guide to earning more as a freelance blogger is packed with practical tips that even more experienced writers currently earning what they think is pretty good money will be able to use to increase their earnings. Apart from advice on how to find and keep the best-paying clients, the book also has handy tips on managing your own blog and getting more comments and readers, as well as social media, and getting your writer/blogger site in shape. One of my favorite sections, that addresses what I feel is a real problem for me, and other writers I know, is the section about how to write fast. Great tips, there! The authors, well-known pros (Carol Tice, Sean Platt, Annabel Candy and Greg Ciotti) are upbeat, realistic and very down to earth. While I did receive a copy of this book for review, all opinions are my own.

Luckily, I found this book pretty early on in my freelancing career. I've followed the steps and my income is steadily increasing. And it's not just an "ok" income either. Blogging is a necessity for businesses nowadays. So if you find the right clients - the ones who know how valuable well-written content is - you CAN make a full-time income at this. But it will take work on your part. Carol and the other authors do a fantastic job of offering you a roadmap to success, if you will, but it's pointless if you're not committed and serious about making this business work for you. So if that's your goal, this book will help to DRASTICALLY shorten the learning curve and have you on your way to more income AND more clients in no time! Are you ready?

Carol Tice is one of the best bloggers on the Internet. I've followed many and found Carol to be a valued resource for mentoring, training and information.  Carol and 3 other prominent bloggers share their strategies, tips and successes in how to create engaging blogs that are easy to read, pack useful information  and help new or experience bloggers stay on track.  Experienced bloggers can use the book to refresh their ideas, or remind them of effective strategies to capture great content. New bloggers will find this book invaluable in how to start, where to find markets, and how to present information so they can turn their writing into a money-making endeavor. If you're serious about writing a blog and want to reach more than your friends and family, read this easy-to-understand book. You'll discover new insights and how to make a living writing quality content that enhances a readers' experience rather than bores them.

I wish I had this information years ago when I started "blogging." I would not have gotten caught up in the writing mills out there. This book is easy to follow. Easy to apply and it provides guidance with references new bloggers or freelance writers could use. I't s like having a big sister showing you the ropes before beginning high school. Keep up the good work! Betty Washington
