Meet the Author

In describing his extensive experience in the comedy industry, Dave Schwensen likes to point out that his career has taken him from 'coast to coast to coast.' He's the only person on the face of the earth to have been talent booker and manager for New York's Original Improvisation (East Coast), talent coordinator for the Hollywood Improv and television show "A&E's An Evening at the Improv" (West Coast), and manager of The Cleveland Improv Comedy Club (North Coast).
While in Hollywood he was also the assistant to Improv founder Budd Friedman and consultant for many Los Angeles and New York based comedy programs, television networks and film studios.

Schwensen is a nationally recognized comedy coach with workshops, comedy business seminars and private coaching. As a talent agent he's scheduled comedians for clubs, colleges and universities, corporate functions, concerts, theaters, festivals and special events. He's been featured in the Chicago Tribune, Hollywood Reporter, Back Stage Newspaper, PBS
Television and Radio, and many others.
