Meet the Author

Former reporter and presenter at BBC radio and TV. Cardiff, Bristol, London and network TV programme based in Manchester.


Author of a number of non-fiction books; Your Personal Survival Guide to the 21st Century, Rapid Result Referrals, Meet Greet & Prosper and co-author (with Mary T Cleary) of a controversial book on how to protect yourself against VERY nasty women called "That Bitch". Feedback from women readers in particular has been fantastic.


Most of my work is as a moderator for large corporate conferences. In 2008 these included MCing the world's largest industry conference for 53,000 delegates (ReCon) in Las Vegas, a global conference for the International Olympic Committee and City of Lausanne where I interviewed the deputy mayor of Beijing for the first formal de-brief of the Beijing Olympics. Other clients include BAT, HP, ICSC, Symantec, The Prudential, Lovells, Linklaters.


Specialties


I help clients deliver dynamic, engaging conferences working with the conference team in the lead up to the conference. My on-stage duties include chairing often complex live, unscripted discussions where I play the role of 'conscience of the audience'. Its highly specialised - but its what I do best. So many celebrities and TV/radio presenters claim to do what I do - they don't.


Another area of expertise is reputation and referral based business development seminars for clients.
