A Must for Anyone Considering a Career in the Modeling Industry

Just wanted to comment on what a wonderful
book How to be a Successful Commercial Model by Aaron Marcus is. His
book is filled with humor, it's easy to read, and gives many suggestions
on getting started in the commercial/commercial print industry.

My daughter and I recently returned from IMTA in New York City. One of
the main reasons we went was because of his book. With my daughter
being only 5' 3" and wanting to be a model, his book made us realize
this could be possible by doing commercials and commercial print work.

While at the IMTA we had the pleasure of attending a seminar with Aaron
Marcus as the guest speaker. Afterwards, we were able to meet him in
person. He took his time to answer all of our questions. My daughter
and I were very impressed with him.

We were glad we read his book and would encourage everyone to read it.
I feel his book put us at an advantage at IMTA. With the knowledge we
gained, we were able to meet with agents with confidence. We were
familiar with the terminology, my daughter was better prepared for
callbacks and what to expect for auditions and we made sure she had her
    photos and portfolio in order.

The best book available on commercial modeling

"Aaron's book, How to Become a Successful Commercial Model, should be required reading for anyone thinking of doing commercial modeling. We feel fortunate to have found Aaron. His book has taught us what to do and what not to do and should be the "Bible" for any aspiring commercial model. Aaron's accessibility to answer questions and give guidance shows what true professionalism and great character he possesses

    great book

I found this book very informative and useful. I especially like tip about castings and relating your life experiences and activities to any questions you may be asked on an audition.

A Must Have If Pursuing Commercial Modeling

I've known Aaron Marcus for years since taking one of his workshops years ago, but hadn't pursued modeling for a long time, so I was thrilled to see he has a book on commercial modeling revised and now in it's 5th edition. It gets right to the point explaining what commercial modeling is, preparation, and resumes - to finding an agent and how to get work. I am an aspiring model, and this book has definitely been a great source to refer to for guidance in preparation for the industry of commercial modeling. This is definitely a book to be added to anyone's collection that is considering commercial modeling.

A must read for both professional & aspiring models alike.

Aaron, Your book is the 'Holy Grail' of modeling advice. Without it I would certainly be at a disadvantage.

He discusses every thing from taking a great head shot to finding a legitimate agent. Luckily, Aaron has decided to share his experience and knowledge with us in the pages of his book. Well written & Informative!

I attended a modeling convention where Aaron gave a great workshop. Directly after I purchased his book. Was it ever great! I am now represented by two agencies and I thought this book was very informative and well written. The countless pictures surely entertained me. Aaron can play such a wide range of characters! Good job Aaron! A must read for all in or, thinking about entering this industry!
