I found this guide very useful and informative. The materials lists and construction assembly sections were clearly detailed and easy to follow. I learned several new things about choosing and housing chickens, and the tips included here were surprising and very helpful. The author covers everything from how and where to place your chicken coop to links and resources to find blueprints to build from. Care has been taken to cover all aspects of choosing, construction and outfitting the chicken coop, as well as advice on guarding against cold weather and predators. There is more to building a chicken coop than I thought, but with this guide I feel confident that I would be able to build one that would safely and comfortably house my chickens.

I've owned chickens before, but I've always just put them in the woodshed with a perch and a cardboard box for a nest box. I know that's not ideal, but the coop instructions I've found online are always too complicated for me to follow. The simple plans in this book with their short list of materials make the job seem a lot easier. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
