Meet the Author

George McNicholl purchased his first automobile engine (a Ford flathead V-8) when he was 12 years old and has had a hand in car and engine building ever since. He is the author of four other Motorbooks titles: How To Build a Flathead Ford V-8, How To Build Vintage Hot Rod V-8 Engines, How To Build Ford Flathead V-8 Horsepower, and How To Rebuild Corvette Rolling Chassis 1963–1982. McNicholl lives in North Vancouver, B.C., Canada.
