A guide to help you get started in WordPress. This guide will help you through the steps of setting up your own WordPress website. It covers the basics and has many illustrations.

It was written with counsellors and therapists in mind but can be used by anybody.

As a counsellor and a tutor, I found out that it can be very hard for counsellors who are just starting out online to find the right resources. WIth that in mind I wrote this guide to make the process a little easier. This is the reason that for this guide I have stuck to the basics. I did not want to inundate you with knowledge. Just what you need to get started.

As this is about an older version of WordPress but still offers valuable information the book is now on sale. I have switched to workshops instead of books as I like to give personal advice to people.

About the Author

I am an online counsellor and a tutor in online counselling. Through my work in tutoring I notice the lack of marketing in most counselling courses. I am trying to bridge that gap with my website and my book[s]. Because I remember how hard it was for me to start from scratch. Spending many hours looking for information on what to do and what not not do. Luckily for me I soon found out that I like doing this. That is not true for a lot of other counsellors and therapists. The reason I offer some help.

In my spare time I love to travel, especially cultural travel. I am Dutch and live in the Netherlands. Yet I have always been fond of Great Britain and The United States. Furthermore I love to read [almost anything] and watch movies. As you can see I am a big dog lover as well. Currently I don't own a dog, but borrow one from friends often.
