Of the five books I've read on the subject of buying a car, this is by far my least favorite. 'How to Buy a Car' was first published in 1980 and lacks many of the web-based sources of information that are indespensable when preparing to do battle with a car saleman.

Using the process and tools in this book, I bargained down a car $1600 from the list price. Highly recommended. I won't leave home (to go to the car dealership) without it.
