I learned of this book from a friend and opened it up just to get a feel for the writing style, I didn't put it down again until I reached the last page.
Naturi Thomas has a knack for making you care about what's going to happen next. I found myself rooting for her as her plight worsened and I cringed every time she mentioned her thoughts of suicide. Suicidal thoughts aside, Miss Thomas possesses a keen sense of humor and the irony of her situation never seems to escape her.
With the city of light as her backdrop, Thomas fights the demons of her past and as well as the perils of her current situation.
HOW TO DIE IN PARIS is well worth a read and I eagerly await Miss Thomas's next book.
