Meet the Author

Native South Carolinian, Yolanda C. Hamilton, recognizes that the gift of poetry became her passion, when her life’s experiences, trials and tests began to take its toll. Writing poetry proved to be her method of expression and escape. She began writing poems for others and encouraging them through words. Her many disappointments, heartaches and tears have not been easy; Yolanda realizes her help comes from above.
Her purpose is to motivate, encourage and help others realize that they have purpose and a destiny. Helping others smile on an otherwise dreary day, and supplying hope for their dreams when the drama is all to real is her reward.

    Sample very short

Book samples should contain an actual sample of the writing, not just the covers, copywrite, etc. (I gave this 5 stars so as to not punish the author for my complaint.) It looks like a lovely book. It would be helpful if the description included the approximate number of pages - am I paying 6.95 for just a few pages or a full length book ?
