    The Best B-School Book Around!

Thanks to this book, I felt very well prepared to apply to business school and will be going to Wharton in the fall! It's a great general overview on the b-school process while also giving detailed examples of winning essays, etc. I would highly recommend this book to anyone considering business school. READ IT FIRST before you start the killer application process. It will make you much more comfortable and prepared when applying.

    Best one in the genre

I read the five most popular titles on the subject of admissions to graduate business schools as recommended by the Graduate Management Admission Council, Business Week, US News & World Report, and others. Of these five, How to Get Into the Top MBA Programs by Richard Montauk was by far the best. Montauk's advise errors on the side of throughness in the recommended exercises for preparation, writing the admissions essays, interviewing, etc. I will say that after forcing myself to do most of the exercises, I was never unprepared for anything the process threw at me. As far as results, I gained admissions to two Top 10 schools. In my mind, this book definitely deserves partial credit for my accomplishment.
