It was a week before my speech for English class was due, and I was in dire need of help. This book provided me with everything and anything I needed to perfect my speech. Although the content did not pertain specifically to my topic (Religion in schools), it still made my paper 300% better! Thank you thank you THANK YOU Mr. Theibert!! Read the review for the previous edition, too! I've seen several other books that try to help with speeches, but most of them only help with the presentation part (oral). This is by far the BEST book on how to write a damn good speech :-)!!

I was fortunate to have Phil Theibert as an adjunct professor in college. When I was asked to teach my first speech class I was quick to order this book.

I wish that I had read this book many, many years ago. The book will give you the confident you need to give a speech any time, any where with ease. You will start to recognize the similar pattern of other speakers and will get more in your communication skills. The author, Mr. Thieber, provides simple tips that they become natural and fit any style. This is a great investment.
