    Highly Recommend this book!

This book helped me so much when I lost my husband in 1998. I have since bought it for several of my friends and family. The advice on the Holidays helped me the most. I wasn't sure how I was going to get through them and with the help of this book I made it through the holiday's much better. The book helps you to understand what you are feeling and what you going through. I can't say enough good things about it.

    Highly recommended...

This is the best book about grief I have found. It is very straightforward and explains the grief process well without dancing around the issue. I highly recommend this book to anyone suffering a loss.

Excellent book. One I highly recommend to families coping with the death of someone they love.

Rando is informative and has written this book in an encyclopedic style. This makes it and easy reference book for grieving people who don't have a lot of reserves to remember and reflect. It becomes easy to refer back to it.

    Very helpful

Realistic approach to facing the death of a loved one.Addresses the variety of emotions in a sensitive way. After reading, I ordered additional copies for my daughter's husband and brothers.

    Invaluable Perspective

I bought this book after my husband died. The advice helped me go forward and teach my children how to cope with his death yet always have his memory with them in a joyful way. If you read one book, read this one.

    I Highly Recommend This Book

My 18 year old son, Seth, died in a car accident in July 2003. This book helped me deal with the shock and grief of losing my only child. It is well written, informative and very thoughtful. It provided me with comfort and guidance, both immediate and long term, when I needed it most. This is a superb book for anyone suffering a loss.

    I highly recommend this book.

I purchased this book after my husband died 6 years ago and it helped me a lot. I now give copies to friends who have lost a loved one and they in turn have bought copies for other family members. Emotionally, it can be hard to read at times and I would put it down and come back to it. It helps us all realize that the stages we go through and the reactions we have to situations are all very normal. I keep copies on hand and sadly, the 2 copies I bought in Decemeber will be given to friends this week.
