How to Grow More Vegetables, Eighth Edition based on 0 ratings. 5 reviews.
Love the book. Have read half so far and loving it. Im a new gardener and I love the idea of farming in a much smarter way for the environment. would recommend to any gardener of any level, lots to learn from this book :)
Easily one of the most important books ever written. This book will be extremely important in the future when we begin to lose the ability to feed ourselves on mass scales.
An interesting book for farmers and those who wish to garden on a large scale, but not particularly useful for personal use. The views of the author on massive production in small spaces might be very useful for someone who needs to make a profit farming, or encourage productivity in 3rd world rural areas, but way over the top for someone who simply wants to grow a few tomatoes and peppers for better salads at home.
I put off getting this book because of the size of it, but once received I was happy with the charts contained. I.e., companion planting, moon charts, and planting seeds. My only con is that there is quite a bit of unnecessary information for a simple backyard gardener such as myself.
