The tomatoes he grew were astonding! The method used was very simple. Anyone could grow much better tomatoes after reading this book. If you can't, something is wrong with you. The methods he uses really will apply to any vegetable, fruit, or tree for that matter. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. The real deal, well written. Lucid and fun to read. I had many a-ha moments, remembering what worked on good rounds and this book helped me develop MY approach.
I have a shelf full of golf books, all selected carefully, each with a purpose. Only two are fix-it or improvement books. several are how to's purchased for a single stroke or two.
This book helps the reader to select THEIR best path and execute...
Best in the shelf!!!

A friend from Vinemont Alabama, Tressie Monk, introduced me to Charles Wilber in Cullman Alabama in the 1990's. We had lunch and discussed the methods he had used to get such enormous growth in his plants. He was very much against using the synthetic fertilizers from the shelf, said natural organics will get the higher growth rates such as maneur. He commented on the need for creative watering techniques. His information has stayed with me over the years, and I kept his signed book and pictures that he gave me in a special place of safekeeping at my Biloxi,MS home. Unfortunately, hurricane Katrina wiped out my home in 2005 and I lost the book and pics in the storm. I recommend his book of insight to all who seek some hidden answers for growing plants to extremes. His research and results are rare and hard to find elsewhere in the field. I hope to see him again. I'm looking forward to purchasing another copy now that I see it can be purchased at the local Barnes & Noble bookstore. It's a book that anyone serious about growing plants should read, and is written by a man who sends his message, experience, and results from the heart. I remember him telling me that he hopes his discoveries in this field don't fall to the wayside and that it is his wish that these techniques and secrets can be carried on in future generations. We all can learn something from this book. May his spirit live on...Best to you all, Tim Herchenhahn 228-222-1743Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
