    A comprehensive guide to planning a great wedding!

    This book helped me design a notebook to keep myself organized. She mentions the notebook she put together, but I made my own based on her recommendations. This book never left my side during my 5 months of wedding planning. It is full of very useful ideas. I am using it again, 3 years later, to plan another family wedding. Everyone is so impressed with my organization - and all of my ideas are from this fabulous book!

    I should've saved the $13 for my wedding budget!

    Unless you are willing to sacrifice some of the most essential elements of a wedding this book is not worth the time. I don't know anyone who would be willing to frost round styrofoam to fool guests into thinking they had a real cake. For an author who is trying to convey ideas for saving money on a wedding, she sure does a lot of self-promotion, encouraging the reader to purchase her wedding planning workbook as well as her useless book.

    LOADED WITH IDEAS!

    THIS BOOK WAS A GREAT WAY TO GET STARTED IN PLANNING YOUR WEDDING, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE ON A BUDGET AND WANT SOME CREATIVE AND UNIQUE WAYS TO CUT CORNERS. I USED MANY OF THESE IDEAS TO SAVE MONEY AND OTHERS THOUGHT THAT THEY WERE JUST UNIQUE AND ORIGINAL IDEAS!! BOY WERE THEY FOOLED!

    If you're curious, check it out from your library

    She keeps referring to what she did for her daughter's wedding--it's annoying. Her language about 'fooling' people and warnings about things you 'cannot scrimp on' ('you *must* have flowers...as many as you can afford')is also annoying. It seems that she's really concerned about things looking expensive. Otherwise, there are some nice tips on how to do your own decorations and stuff.
