    excellent - covers every detail

Of all the books out there to help plan an affordable wedding (and there are many), this one was by far the most comprehensive and do-able. It provided lots of options of where to cut costs without cutting features out of a wedding. It had lots of examples and alternatives (things like different wordings for invitations, or phrases to watch for in contracts with caterers), many of which didn't necessarily involve a lot of time on the bride's end (very important!). Having an affordable wedding doesn't mean having a cheap wedding, which I found so disappointing in the other books I used as guides. There's no need to compromise, and this book helped me plan a beautiful wedding with a personal touch. I highly recommend it!

    Disappointing

This book has too many stories and not enough tips. The book does have a couple of good ideas but otherwise I was disappointed at the lack of.
