    Seriously. This book saved my marriage.

    I'm not at all overstating, when I say this book saved my marriage. I was going through a difficult time, and I decided maybe I would break down and buy a self help book (I'd always made fun of them before) because at this point, I was willing to try anything. By reading this book, I realized that it wasn't just a difficult time in my relationship, but that my whole relationship and the way we ran it was leading up to this point. It made me realize that I am 100% responsible for the state of my relationship, and my spouse is also 100% responisble, there is no 50/50. I was also able to translate the lessons in this book to all relationships in my life, especially with family. My life is much happier and healthier after reading this. It saved my marriage and changed my life.

    Bill Ferguson went from divorce lawyer to relationship counselor. He also runs two very informative websites, leads various programs dealing with relationship issues, founded a program in 2002, 'Stop The Conflict' and he continues his journey in helping educate people in the school of life. His success as an author has brought him an invitation to the Oprah Show, not to mention being highly recommended by the Wall Street Journal and WomensSelfesteem.com. Bill Ferguson resides in Houston, Texas where he consistently thinks of more ways to help people learn to deal with their real everyday issues. About the book: 'How To Heal A Painful Relationship', is the third book from Bill Ferguson that I have had the pleasure of reading. This book like Bill¿s others is a well written and easy read. It focuses on the ¿how to¿s¿ in either strengthening a present relationship or maintaining a certain amount of friendship within a past one. Through this book we are taught several good habits, such as how to accept our partner for who they are and not what we would like them to be, how to love and create a loving relationship, how not to be hateful and resentful of our partner, and also we learn new coping tactics in regards to healing our hurts through failed relationships. ¿How To Heal A Painful Relationship¿, will show its reader just how responsible they are as a main factor in either destroying or building a loving, caring relationship.
