Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher
"

This volume is divided into 17 chapters dealing with all aspects of the cars. It is very well illustrated with mostly color photographs and the author goes into great detail ..." – Club Torque

"

The new edition of How to improve TR2-4A is a great book and destined to be on all TR2-4A owner's shelves." – TR Action

"

Concentrating solely on four-cylinder TRs, this is as comprehensive a tuning manual as you're ever likely to find." – Octane

TR Register New Zealand"

I would recommend it to anyone who is interested, not only in modifying their TR, but in understanding just what possibilities exist and where there may be opportunities to make small improvements when they come to replace worn out components.

Meet the Author

Roger Williams was born in 1940. Aircraft were his first love, so, after school, he joined the de Havilland Aircraft Company where he quickly added motor cars to his list of prime interests. He completed his apprenticeship & studies & built two Ford-based specials before family & career interests took pride of place for many years. However, in 1986 he started his own consultancy business, which allowed him to restore numerous MGBs, a Triumph TR6 & a Triumph Stag & to write three MGB books. He retired in 2000 & has since moved to France and written four Triumph TR restoration books. Roger installed a Rover V8 engine in one of his own MGBs.
