    Learn about yourself and black men in the process

    I read this book a few years ago and just recommended it to some of my female co-workers who are having relationship issues. The book is wonderful and written in a very powerful format. Even though the implied journey is to learn about black men, you unexpectedly take a journey to learn about yourself as a black woman. I felt so empowered after reading this book in my life as well as my relationship.

    The truth

    I purchased this book to gain some insight into the 'male' perspective of 'the love/relationship game'. My relationship is troubled and since most men (black men) refuse to go to counseling, I figured I would have to rely on my own self-help. The book introduced me to a couple of new ideas. It also touched on many issues I already knew of, but have forgotten about and/or taken advantage of. I have already applied one 'Satisfaction Action' and I am content with the way my decision has settled. I would recommend that all black women (black men too) read this book in an effort to help with all OUR relationships. I can see it as helpful to single folks hoping to perform better in future relationships, as well as, for those of use faced with current relationship problems. It takes alot to admit ones faults, and even takes more to improve upon oneself. This book is a perfect example of that. GROWTH is what its all about!

    Fantastic read for the African American Woman

    This is an excellent read for all African American couples. I enjoyed gaining more insight into how what and how we communicate with our blackmen contributes to the growth of our relationship and strengthens or can destroy the black family unit.

    A Definite Must Read...

    This book should just be called a man. For the most part, anyone can relate to it. Guaranteed you will not put this book down. It teaches you so much about yourself as well as learning about the opposite sex. Truly riveting!!!

    Extra, Extra, Read ALL About It!!

    Before I read this book I thought I was helpless as far as understanding Black men goes. Dealing with them was impossible, or so I thought. This book gave me so much insight and taught me what to do in a number of different situations. Since reading this book I feel like a new woman and the relationship between me and the Black man in my life has grown tremendously! I recommended this book to all the women I know and even those I don't.

    I recommend this book.

    I've found this book to be very informative and practical. It helped me discover my personality traits, and how to overcome the self-sabotaging behaviors. It's one that I will continually reference. I recommend buying the book.
