Editorial Reviews

From Barnes & Noble
It's time for you to embrace your inner Hot Chick. Jodi Lipper and Cerina Vincent, the saucy gurus who gave us How to Eat Like a Hot Chick, are back to dispense real world wisdom about relationships, break-ups, and beyond. The pair's "girlfriend-to-girlfriend" advice rings true because it is delivered with a reassuring, upbeat tone; in fact, some of their commentary is downright hilarious. Perky words about your love life and its occasional droughts.
Publishers Weekly

The latest from Lipper and Vincent (How to Eat Like a Hot Chick ) is more fizzle than sizzle. Some may find inspiration in the assertion that all women are "hot chicks" waiting to discover themselves, and there are a few fun, smart activities like "Build a Boyfriend Workshop" and the cheeky "Where Are His Balls?" But any gems are mired in crass hyperbole that often insults readers' intelligence. Some of the content has merit (like most books of this type, the authors preach the virtue of self-esteem) but more often than not the authors present too-cute, sometimes offensive definitions ("Butt Class: You may not believe this, but we used to have a lame, flat, white-girl ass until we got that flat ass to the gym") and spout off like sailors on shore leave-dropping F-bombs with abandon. Lipper and Vincent confuse hip with hype. (Jan.)

    BUY THIS BOOK!

I love this book. It's an easy read that not only makes you laugh, but it forces you to think about what it's important in a relationship. It leaves you with a sense of empowerment that you deserve to be with someone who makes you feel like a hot chick - that you shouldn't compromise your self-worth and dignity to be with someone who doesn't honor what you have to offer. I recommend this book to any girl who is unhappy being single or has been in the wrong relationship for too long - you'll feel so good knowing you have the power to become a hot chick!
