After recovering from a difficult broken relationship I truly doubted the possiblilty of real happiness with another. Then, my current partner and I compeleted this book. It basically contains 100s of questions about your life, love, history, and desires. We answered it honestly and it has opened a whole new level of trust between us. My wife and I are going on over two happy years together now and I contribute alot of that joy to this book.

This book is great... But use a pencil... because you will change your answers more that you think... But be truthful... because you will only be lying to yourself. Great for a discussion group or social club

I really enjoy filling a little bit of this journal out each day and then letting my significant other read it. Some of the topics you wouldn't discuss on an average day and this journal will let your partner get to know you on a whole new level.

I bought two books for my husband and I to write in while he was deployed to Iraq. The topics were thought provoking but didn't give much room to explain your answers - if they needed explaining. Some of the subjects seemed better left to a conversation then the few options given. (Which they did lead to some.) I would not recommend this book to a couple just starting out as some of the topics went into past experiences of family and disagreements.

I wanted a book my boyfriend and I could fill out together on Valentine's Day but when i looked through it I realized that it is for one person only. Seeing as my boyfriend already knew about the questions in there it was not much fun to do. It might be good for people in a new relationship though.

i bought this book with interest. when i started going through the book, I really enjoyed it. At first, the questions seemed common sense, but they are really questions that need to be asked and thought about. my boyfriend and i started working this book together on a long weekend drive. we were amazed at some of our answers, but it gave us time to talk things over, get through assumptions we had about relationships, etc. the part we like the most, was the section going over past hurts/baggage from family issues and relationship stuff. we talked about how we worked and continue to work through certain issues. all in all this book is a must need for couples planning on marriage. it puts a lot on the table and fosters a deeper level of trust, honesty, and committment. as a couple, we enjoy. on our date nights, we go over the intimacy section (sex, love, etc). it works for us

I was looking for something for my long-term, live-in boyfriend for Valentine's Day and ran across this book. I bought it on a whim thinking it would be a funny present. I went through and answered the questions honestly. I gave it to him and he loves it. He keeps going back through and reading it over again. Even after 3 years together he says it has given him new insight into me about things he didn't know. I deem it was a pretty good investment, especially of a "whim" gift.

I grabbed this book when I was just about to throw in the towel with dating, and it was more of a self-discovery adventure. Of course I left the questions blank about Mr. Who. Now that I am in a committed relationship, it's better for him to read the things that maybe I was too shy to say outloud (the sex stuff) and better understand me in a new way (the personality stuff.) I highly recommend this for any couple.
