Has some cool-looking photos of projects, but the instructions are not clear and the accompanying illustrations are really pretty bad. Very cartoonish and seemed to want to be more visually applealing than actually helpful. Would have been nice to have instructions of more than one state of creation and a photo of the final project. I'm going to attempt a simple book, but will probably end up using YouTube,l which is free rather than a $15 e-book that sin't helpful.

I purchased this book after taking a book making class. It was filled with lots of great ideas, however, previously making books helped me understand some of the processes better. This would be great for any age 13+!

This book is the first on book arts that actually walks the talk--it looks like a funky art book even though it's mass produced. Instructions are clear (I've already taught a short workshop using one of the simpler techniques), well illustrated, fun, lots of examples, and the author has a terrific sense of humor.
