Overview

For over twenty-five years, Author Mary Greenwood has been resolving disputes in her professional career as an Attorney, Mediator, Human Resources Director, Union Negotiator, and Labor Arbitrator. A reviewer

Mary Greenwood has written a brilliant and thorough summary of key points for mediation. This latest book together with her earlier winner,How to Negotiate Like a Pro, would have served me well in my role as Superintendent of Schools and certainly would have been of great value when I was a professor teaching Conflict Management at the doctoral level. The voice of a finely-honed, experienced mediator is heard as the 42 rules are set forth clearly. I like the practicality of the points that are made--especially the rule that you can mediate with a lunatic. That would have been handy as a superintendent. I also like the clear definitions, the resources for additional help, and the summary of Do's and Don'ts. I recommend this highly for any superintendent, CEO, or administrator. The book is well-crafted, clear and focused. Marion Czaja, Ph.D. Retired Professor at Sam Houston State University
