For content review this book is okay, although it does cover much more than you will need to know on the actual SAT II. However, the practice tests are way too difficult, and are not what you see on the day of the exam. Maybe its to make you study extra hard but it is not a good representation of the actual exam.

This book is very detailed but is not as good as some of the other ones. Barons is especially good for the SAT I but not so much for SAT II. The information about the SAT II is not as well covered compared to (example) um.....Kaplan. If you can handle the down sides, you could probably get away with a pretty good score on your test.

This is a great book to study from if you are taking the SAT II's for World History. It has about 350 pages of detailed information. I just took the test today, and I saw that about 50% of the questions were almost word for word from this book. If you buy this book, make sure that you have enough time to study because there is a lot of information packed into every page. If you can learn/memorize all of the stuff in this book, I can almost guarantee that you will get over 720 (out of 800).
