    Spiritual Independence

Linda Howe explains that the Akashic Records contain, "everything that every soul has ever thought, said and done over the course of existence, as well as its future possibilities." I love her analogy of the Records being the "cosmic internet" and we can "google" specific information from them.

These Records are not the exclusive domain of any one organization or religion. They are available to everyone. In the past, mystics and saints had access, and Mystery Schools provided entrance information. Today, we have evolved to a spiritual independence, which allows anyone to gather data from the Records.

A specific prayer, the Pathway Prayer, is used to gain entry. While answers are provided, there is also an energy exchange that allows us to ask the right questions and "feel" the right responses. The Records don't hold anything negative. They contain our potential, which is "eternal beings of Light whose essence is wholeness and wellness and goodness."

Howe suggests that the Records provide an "energetic tune-up" for everyone, especially for those feeling out of touch or lost in the complexity of the material world. Remembering that we are connected to a Divine Being provides a comfort. "All souls desire to experience their wholeness and Oneness with all of Creation," although not all of us are aware of this.

We are all capable of a spiritual independence, one in which we can help choose and define our spiritual connection. The Records provide another avenue of support, one in which we can connect directly to a Divine or Higher Energy.

Tuning into Your Own Soul with ease and grace

Linda Howe has provided a simple yet powerful way to access our greatest spiritual and personal resource: the vibrational dimension of our own Souls known as the Akashic Records.

Since the Akashic Records have been called "the Book of Life" in many cultures and religions, and are believed to operate like a quantum recording device that holds the actions, thoughts and possibilities of each individual soul in its full journey, it is surprising that no book with specific instructions for doing so has been written before now.

This clear and easy to follow guidebook shares Linda's Pathway Process as a vibrational key to "consciously channel" our Soul's perspective in our everyday lives. It is especially helpful for spiritual seekers who have tried meditation &/or other practices of tuning inward to access practical guidance or creative inspiration and have been left wanting more.

For some readers, Linda's method of accessing the Akashic Records through her Pathway Prayer may seem almost too easy. But this is not a book just to be read -- it is a process to be experienced. HOW TO READ THE AKASHIC RECORDS provides a simple curriculum to help anyone activate and strengthen their "conscious channeling" muscles by opening the Pathway to the "heart of the Records" and allowing higher wisdom to flow through. Linda's clear and personal explanation of how she works with the Akashic realm gives credence to her process.

Since the Akashic Records are the archives of our individual lives from the Soul perspective, Linda's explanation of the differences between the Records, Intution and Spirit Guides is especially useful. So this is a valuable introduction for anyone who wants to go beyond meditation, intution and spirit guides to directly access the archives as well as the potential of their own Souls.

Go even deeper into the Records

The CD version of Linda Howe's HOW TO READ THE AKASHIC RECORDS echoes but does not duplicate verbatim her book of the same name. It covers the same territory (see review of the book separately) but includes guided meditations that infuse the listener with the Light of the Soul.

The CD set is both an interactive and pro-active way to begin to work with the Records with Linda's personal guidance. It is like a private class with her, guiding you every step of the way. If you are seeking a self-paced process to go beyond meditation, intuition and spirit guide work by accessing your own "Book of Life" -- the archives of your Soul's journey in the past and its future potential in this lifetime and beyond -- you will find Linda's CD set a great place to start. Her book offers a written companion/workbook, so to speak, to reinforce and clarify your personal experiences and help you go even deeper through Linda's audio meditations and loving inspiration.
