Meet the Author

“Doing all the little tricky things it takes to grow up, step by step, into an anxious and unsettling world.” Sylvia Plath

Use our step by step process to learn and grow both professionally, and personally. And don’t worry you won’t end up putting your head in an oven like Sylvia Plath. The end result will be more akin to the brilliance of a quote like that, not the end result of its author’s life. Wizards Books self-help series is the thing you need to educate you on a variety of topics.

However Sylvia Plath was right in her assertion about the ways of the world, most things in life need to be done step-by-step. We have enhanced that age old rule, and with step-by-step wizard books we teach the masses to rein in their creativity in all types of fields, and take it a step at a time.

Have you often thought, your imagination is spent, you’re sick and tired of never achieving your real potential, you’re stuck in a rut, where do you go from here? The Step-by-step series can help you get out of all that, and achieve positive real world results in any field.

We distill information, so you get a concise picture of what needs to be done. Unlike any other self-help book out there, step-by-step guides you through whatever process you seek to learn, and instead of just giving you information, they help you grow as an individual.

Just think, you will no longer need to seek out advice on any subject ever again.
Step-by-steps how to guides will show you how it’s done, and then how to do it right. It’s the last self-help tool you will ever need, think of us as your own personal self-help guru, on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

    Stress? Beat it!

Roots of the most part of our diseases, bad mood, tiredness or argues is just in the one word – STRESS. Sometimes things are getting more and more complicated and we just endure all this. That’s where the problems begin. I should advice, concerning my own experience, you don’t have to struggle too long. One day you should stop and think about the real reasons of you unwell self-feeling. In other case, you’ll need professional help soon, which is emotionally not an easy action and which takes much time. Please, react in time, while you don’t have to fix your life.

This book of Stephen Williams gives a range of simple advices. It’s easy to implement and there are variety of things, everyone should think about. It’s not a medical book and if your situation is quite deep, you have to talk with a specialist. But, at the same time, this book is a great tool for stress’ prevention. It’s easy to read, I was as relaxed, as during reading some fiction. I have known a lot of things that are described here, but I forget about this so often. When I have a lot of work and other businesses, it’s so easy to forget about a simple thing – our body and soul need to relax for a bit. This book has reminded me about this important part of life.

It’s also good due to a chance to think of our close people’s feeling, to notice who has a stress situation and how I can help.

In a world such as this it would be a miracle if you are not stressed, and, if you aren’t then kudos to you! I have been so stressed I just feel like giving up on things and not even trying anymore. That was the main reason why I got this book, just so I can get things together, and thankfully, I am happy that I got it.

Nothing irks me more than self help books that don’t really help you. Thankfully, Stephen Williams is one of the few authors who actually write and give me quality information. I started the book on Sunday night and didn’t take my eyes off of it till I was through. Stephen Williams has a knack for giving sound advice and I was happy to soak up all the words that he threw my way.

His hints and tips and all the advice that he gave was very good advice. I found myself rethinking how I operated through my days and pinpointing my areas of opportunity. Stephen Williams has helped me to realize that it is not all that hard to live a life without stress. After all, God didn’t put me here to be stressed. Life should be good no?

The book is written simply and to the point. As with his other books, Williams begins his advice from the very first page. There is not running around it. I started taking his advice to heart from that first page onwards. I am very happy with my purchase!

Leave stress behind and be happy!

Stress has become a part and parcel of our lives; most of us struggle with stress sub consciously not realizing that it is impacting our personal and other lives. It is not possible to avoid stress if we have too many schedules for one day. It just does not fit in and that is that. Instead of realizing this, what we end up doing is trying our best to fit in everything like when you have too many clothes to fit into your travelling bag. What do we do? We stomp and squeeze until all the clothes fit in. It is the same with stress when there are too many events in our lives and we try to juggle and worry and elevate our blood pressures with not so nice emotions. End result: quality of health is affected. Along comes books such as Stephen William’s to provide the required guidance and just the right amount of advice in stopping us in our frenetic pace. Stephen William’s book provides the right amount of advice without going too deep into any of the psychological domains. The language used is easily understood as it is written in layman’s terms.
There are lots of everyday tips given which does not impinge on financials, albeit they are free and doable everyday as long as we learn to make it a routine. Putting on a smile on meeting everyone especially your close ones does not take much effort. Neither does doing someone a favor, once in a while. These are actions which make us realize that interactions and relationships are key to reducing stress in our lives.
I find this a good book and relevant to most of us who are leading busy lives.

    Goodbye Stress!

Stress is a big part of my life. Every day I would endure some kind of stress. It is only normally for all of us. I would encounter stress in my high pressured job that I work as a waiter. Furthermore, school can be stressful at times because of all the projects due and the exams at the end of the week. Stress can build up in our systems into a ball of fire waiting to explode. So it is really important to maintain a healthy balance of our stress and eliminate some of it. Too much stress in life would cause unhappiness, depression and other illnesses. Thankfully, I found about this book by Stephen Williams.

Once again, Stephen Williams is sharing his wisdom to the whole world. This time he explains to us and provides excellent advice in how to relieve stress in our daily lives. He definitely helped me prepare myself in the right path to have a less stressful life. He would explain to me what I must do to help me get rid of some stress. Take a walk on the beach or at the park every now and then. Spend some valuable time with friends and family and try to move away from work and school every once in a while. Wake up each morning and put on a lovely smile as you start another day in your life. Those are some of the good examples that I got out of from this book.

Furthermore, he doesn’t only help me relieve stress, but also teaches me how to prevent it as well. Prevention of stress is the key to maintaining a healthy, happy life. One example is to prepare for all your schoolwork ahead of time. Don’t procrastinate and try to complete everything at last minute. That can be extremely stressful!

I highly recommend this book for everyone. It doesn’t matter if you’re old, young, male or female; this book is great advice for all of you. It will be great if everyone can have a happier lifestyle. It will not only affect you, but also to those around you. So be sure to check this book out and share it with all your friend’s and family. You won’t be disappointed!

I have been planning a wedding for the better part of two years

I have been planning a wedding for the better part of two years now. With only six months to go, we've finally hit the home stretch and the stress is starting to hit maximum capacity. What with having to handle the flowers, the food, the decorations, the complex politics of family seating and last-minute wedding band replacement, all while going to work and graduate school, our life has basically mutated into one dense wall of constant stress. Concerned for me and the level of stress I was having to deal with on a non-stop basis, my loving soon-to-be husband decided he'd try to help me lessen my stress. In addition to taking on some of the wedding responsibilities and giving me a couple of nights a week off to myself, he also bought me Stephen Williams' “How to Relieve Stress.” We've read half a dozen of Williams' other books and we have always found him helpful, so my fiancé thought this book by him would be a safe bet for being able to help me in this very stressful time. Thank god for my husband-to-be and Stephen Williams because, just a week later, and I'm already starting to feel the difference in my life and the way I handle stress.

As always, Mr. Williams' writing is clear and un-condescending – he never makes you feel bad for needing to seek someone's advice for how to improve your life. On the contrary, Williams always makes you feel like taking your life into your own hands by seeking to improve it is a major accomplishment in and of itself – like other things in life, admitting you need help is the first step to a better life. My favorite thing about Williams' approach to dealing with stress is that, not only does he give you the tools you need to deal with the stress we all encounter every day, but he also shows you how to avoid some kinds of stress altogether – prevention is half the battle. Williams helps you identify those situations and people in your life that may be causing you undue stress and shows you that you have to weigh your own happiness against what you're getting in return for your effort. If there's something or someone in your life that is a negative force, causing you more stress than they alleviate, then maybe you need to remove that person or thing from your life. Avoiding or dealing with stress is about building a better life for yourself and sometimes you're better off leaving parts of your life behind in order to the rest of your life better. I read this book during a time in my life when I was letting a lot of outside, frivolous things govern me and make my life stressful. Once I realized that there were some things that just weren't worth stressing yourself over, I finally started to feel like everything else in my life was manageable and even worthwhile. Thanks to Williams' book, I find myself excited to face the day, secure in the knowledge that I have the tools I need to deal with anything that comes my way.
