I opened up this book wondering, "Now why would anyone RESIST their Prince Charming?!" It quickly became clear exactly why - because what else does a young woman do when she's attracted to her father's boss, who happens to be perfect for her in every way, other than her father despises him completely? And where does this disdain come from? Because his boss is in actuality the son of his former boss, and is about 26 years old. Her father assumes he knows nothing, and the rest of the staff make fun of him behind his back. In truth, the young man is highly educated, is a techno wiz, and has incredible integrity and has a great business sense.
The couple, Lenna and Braxton, try to resist their feelings for one another, but end up deciding to try to keep their relationship a secret and fall deeply in love. It's a touching and deeply moving story of how caring they are for each other, and the lengths Braxton will go for Lenna's happiness. Her father makes some incredibly poor and immature choices when he finds out about the relationship, but you can understand a father doing so if he's not yet come to terms with his little girl being an adult of consenting age yet.
I can count on one hand how many times a book has made me cry, and this is one of them. My heart ached for Braxton and Lenna. My heart rejoiced for them, too. I can honestly say I was invested in this book from start to finish, and I WILL be reading more of Ms. Kage's books. Anyone that can make me feel so many emotions in one book has found herself a devoted fan!

## This book was stellar. It was so much fun to read. I love that the author let the hero and heroine have fun together and laugh a lot. When a book is filled with arguing and fights, it's always hard to imagine how the couple fall in love. Of course there is the obligatory conflict, but that's to be expected. The hero and heroine had fabulous chemistry and I adored them both. Although I think the hero should have made the heroine work a little harder to get him to forgive her, but all in all a marvelously sexy read. Highly recommended. Was this review helpful?
