Praise for How to Retire Happy
"I found this an extremely valuable book for me,both professionally and personally. I have worked for many years at an organization that helps people prepare for retirement. At age 62,I am actively planning my own retirement and I consider Stan Hinden's book required reading. This is solid practical information presented in a very easy-to-read format. Everyone in the workforce today should read this book!"
—Horace B. Deets Executive Director,AARP
"Very complete. Covers all aspects of retirement extremely well. Stan's work will serve as the most authoritative book on how to retire and I believe it will be regarded as the"bible" for future retirees. "
—Stephen Hartwell Chairman of the Board,Washington Mutual Investors Fund
"A unique and extraordinary blend of useful advice about the economic, personal and practical problems facing prospective retirees — written by a financial expert who has been there himself. "

Basic information for those who haven't given much thought to retirement. The author's view is valuable because, as a current retiree, he has experienced the issues first hand and has put them in a book. But most of the advice is elementary for those who keep up on general financial topics. Finances, on the other hand, is the furthest thing from my wife'd mind, and I know she will gain more from the book then I did. Written simply and very easy to read. Was this review helpful?
