When my Grandfather would scold me, upon making a mistake he would start by saying, 'It's Commonsense that... .' Based on my life experience so far, I don't think there is such a thing known as Commonsense. Ben Stein gives a very few basic (Commonsense) key points that will allow the reader to get by some basic financial stumbling blocks. As far and writing and editing, the book is written at a very easy reading level and is clearly edited to form a smooth transition between the author's 55 points. Overall, a very good book.

How to Ruin Your Financial Life is a great book to read for college students. It teaches you what you do not want to do if you wish to succeed later in life. It also allows you to make sure you are not doing anything that can cause harm to your financial life. Great Book
