Dave Anderson's "How to Run Your Business By The Book" has helped my personal and professional life so much so that I thought of writing the review. You can tell that the author has experienced all that he has written about. The Book has helped me to discover myself in ways that are enlightening. I am a business owner and the book has given me a lot of useful insights for running my business. I think that regardless of your religous background this is a must read. I am looking forward to the author's next book.

The nine chapters serve as a great outline to build up your leadership skills and your organization. Contrary to what many may believe, the Bible isn't filled with just warm an fuzzy advice. There is plenty of no-nonsense, common sense business advice about managing money and dealing with non-performers in this book. The most helpful chapter for me was balancing home and family. The author shares Biblical truths and doesn't twist it or taint it with his own personal opinion. I liked that approach. While my business is not in a crisis right now, I'll keep the blueprint provided in the chapter on leading through crisis on tap in the event things take a nasty turn. The information there is outstanding.
