I bought this book based on what you guys have said. I am in the middle of having one foot out the door, emotionally dead from lack of nothingness and hoping for better. I'll read this and hope you are all correct before my emotions and heart pack my bags
The good advice and sound decisions made by the reader will save a marriage. The good advice found in Stan Cronin's 'How to Date Your Wife' will keep you from getting to the point of divorce. Read both and stay away from divorce attorney's.
This book is AWESOME. I was hopeless, but determined not to give up. My husband wanted a divorce and had completely left me. I followed this little book, and today, my husband and I feel closer than we ever have.
Someone I trust recommended this book to me when my marriage didn't hold out much hope. This book was a Godsend and truly did make a difference. That was on our 9th year... We're now on year number 16 and going strong.
When I was on the verge of giving up on my marriage and my husband was turned off the idea of reconciliation. I ran across this little book. Seventeen years later I can testify that what Dr. Wheat has written in this book really works. Since that time I have recommended this book to many individuals who were going through serious troubles and on the brink of calling it quits but one partner believing God... well read it for yourself.
This book very well may be helpful however if you're trying to save your marriage alone I think it's gone past the point of saving. The only way for a marriage to work is for both people to be working on it not for one to be doing it alone.
