'How to Solve a Murder' is a excellent book for the new-comer to the crime solving scene. It goes through a fictious crime and all the resulting investigation to show at all the crime solving techniquies that would and could be used. It provides the reader with an excellent backround and understanding of topics such as Ballistics, Fingerprinting, Blood typing, DNA matching and a multatude of other crime solving systems. I would highly recomend this book as the first you read in order to gain a basic knowledge to further yourself.
