About the Author

Before retirement he was a Corporate Sr. V.P. and Officer of Honeywell, Inc. in charge of semiconductor businesses. He describes that experience in his book, Business Success with Less Stress. He has a Ph.D. in physics and took the MBA course for senior executives at Harvard. He is a Fellow of the American Physical Society, received the University of Minnesota's highest award, Distinguished Graduate/Outstanding Achievement Award, and Honeywell's CEO citation; "Carl has made a greater contribution to Honeywell's success than any other executive." He wrote Sleeping on Potatoes, his life story; he was born in Montana and imprisoned in internment camps unconstitutionally during WWII. He lives in Port Townsend, Washington.
