I live in the South and find this book funny and, for the most part, pretty accurate.  It is written by a southerner, so the anti-northern complaints  are baseless.  One of the funniest things I ever experienced was listening to my Puerto Rican friend try to read from this little book.  We're all funny, no matter where we're from.

I am southern, and yes we may seem to have accents to you, northerners seem to have a wierd accent to us. It kind o makes me want to write a book called how to speak north-eastern. But that would be racist so I wont.
