Meet the Author

Jennifer Shipp has a black belt in taekwondo. She has studied both ATA and Olympic style taekwondo. She has also studied Kung Fu, Tai Chi, Aikido, Karate, and Ninjitsu, and has been teaching martial arts to both children and adults since 2003. Jennifer and her husband have owned and operated 6 martial arts schools in 6 different communities in Kansas, Colorado and Nebraska. Jennifer has a master's degree in child and family psychology and has experience developing curricula for children as young as 2 years of age and adults as old as 85. She has taught yoga, dance, gymnastics, and Tai Chi as well as martial arts.
