Gum disease is the number one cause of tooth loss today! Learn how to protect and preserve your teeth for a lifetime of good service.

Without healthy gums, the teeth have no support. Learn how to measure your current status and then improve that status in order to protect your periodontal (gum tissue), thereby protecting your teeth.

Editorial Reviews

Bob Nyce
A short but to the point book about gum disease that everyone should read. As a sufferer from gum disease I was amazed to find out that 3 out of 4 people are affected by this problem.

The book explains steps that everyone can take to help prevent gum disease...

Having worked in the UK dental industry for many years, I feel that this is an essential book for the everyday lay person to understand just what they should be doing for their essential Periodontal care. Periodontal is the gum. REMEMBER your GUMS are the FOUNDATION of your teeth, much like the footings of a building. If this is undermined, You WILL lose your teeth and with it the shape of your face...
Terry Sebastian
...it's perhaps the least costly way to save your gums! Our bodies were NOT made to have gum disease; if we get it we need to attack the disease and stop it in its tracks because our gums and teeth are the first...

Meet the Author

David Snape is the author of the Print book: What You Should Know About Gum Disease. ISBN: 978-0981485508.

Having suffered from a similar problem and saving himself from a 'deep cleaning' treatment, he wanted to share what he learned with others.

Gum disease is a far bigger problem than most imagine and it is really tragic that many people will lose a tooth or several teeth to this problem. Many will never know why they lost them.

They will merely accept their fate and pay a lot of money for expensive treatments and 'replacements' that could probably have been avoided in the first place. Saving our natural teeth, or as many of them as we can, is very important to our dental and overall health.

This is why he wrote these books. David also writes on other health topics as well.

David currently runs a store online called Toothy Grins Store where he sells products related to his books.

    You need to know

This is a short and sweet book but oh so informative. I had never known that there were ways to be checking on if I had gum disease or not and/or if I was getting rid of it I always assumed my dentist would just tell me. Because of this little book I can be talking to my dentist more and get more out of each visit. I really recommend it its a great investment for your teeth.
