Well-written by someone who seems to actually know what it is like to work with high school students (and teachers) in today's environment. Jargon-free, without the high and mighty pretensions of most books on building community/collaboration in schools, this is an excellent and highly recommended book for anyone working in education. Was this review helpful? The author addresses an area that has not been talked about before. A must read for school administrators, teacher leaders, lead teachers and department chairs. The book is full of examples written by someone who's been in the education front lines not in a research think tank far away from the trenches. The book contains a very helpful section of resources that I've already been able to utilize at school. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
