Worse book ever. This book had nothing to do with the Sphynx cat and the unique care it requires. Very disappointed that I wasted my money on this.

I am annoyed that this had to get a for star review because someone had to come in and give their opinion about the breed being "gross" and award it one star. When people look at reviews they are looking for honesty about the book content, not a random persons opinion about the breed being gross. Be honest about the book and leave it at that. I myself think standard cats are "gross". I do not want an unclean home with animal hair all over the place. I never have to worry about pet hair on my furniture, clothes, or anything else. I have two beautiful Sphynx males who are only pets. I am a busy mom of four and they are low maintenance, social, and not like any pet I have ever had. I have had dogs and cats for years and never have had such sweet pets. As far as how they look, and how you might think they feel, they are not hairless! They have a layer of fuzz like a peach, and are warmer (4 degrees) then a regular cat. This leaves them feeling like a velvety, suede-like hot water bottle. They are absolutely lovely to hold and cuddle!

I was having a very hard time with a previous Sphynx cat with potty training so I had to get rid of it. But i figured I would give it another try. Luckily I found this book the same time I got my little kitten and I am so happy I did! This book taught me so much and more than I ever needed to learn on how to train my kitten and understand it better!
