I loved How to Work and Homeschool because it's thorough and hopeful and helpful and chock full of amazing resources. There's so much in How to Work and Homeschool that applies to life and the work/life balance, whether one is a homeschooler or not. My kids are in public school, but I've been working from home since 2005. Pamela's practical tips and advice are great for work-from-home parents no matter if they homeschool or not. I've been highlighting and earmarking sections like crazy!

This book came into my life right when I needed it, as I was newish to homeschooling and was still trying to figure out how to juggle that and something resembling a career. Because of Pamela's book, I am doing considerably better with my juggling. The schedules of possible school/work hours, located in the appendix, were most helpful. Nearly every other page was dogeared and passages underlined.
Whether a new, experienced, or potential homeschooler, this book can and will help you with figuring out just how to keep all the plates spinning. I can't recommend it highly enough.
